Seehorse Creative Media Fine Art
It is an interesting bit of irony that I learned how to draw on the reams of computer paper my father used to bring home from work. It now also seems ironic that I quit the job he got me at one of the country's largest and most advanced computer mainframes in order to pursue a career in art. I explained to him that I wanted to do something good for the world, and not just help facilitate the crunching of capitalism's numbers. It gets just crazy circular when you consider that I am now returning to computers because I think they play a vital role in improving the world, and the sharing of ideas; exactly the reasons I once abandoned computers in favor of art. I have not, however, returned to computers to crunch numbers. I have come to kindle a marriage between art and computers; a marriage I think could flourish beneficially for all of us. I seriously believe that the marriage of art and computers can make the world a better place to be. I think the world could be on the verge of a major revolution. It is, for me anyway, driven by the merging and emergence of art based concepts and the 'Global Village' mentality of web media technoloies. I am excited about art again. I am just starting to create 'digital' art, but in the meantime you can peruse some of my art in the Fine Art Gallery.
